Everton and Aston Villa are tracking Leeds United midfielder Alex Mowatt.
The Sunday Mirror says Goodison boss Roberto Martinez is a confirmed admirer of the 19-year-old and Villa chief Paul Lambert is also having Mowatt monitored as he looks for a replacement for his unsettled England man Fabian Delph.
Both clubs could attempt to strike a deal with Leeds in January and loan the player back to the Championship outfit for the rest of the season.
Mowatt, who was the subject of interest from Stoke last summer, scored three goals for Leeds against Cardiff and Charlton this week and received his first call-up into the England Under-20 squad.
