Tim Cahill admits the Everton staff are giving him every chance of recovering from his World Cup duties ahead of the clubs triple-header against A-League clubs which kicks off on the weekend. The Merseysiders are in Sydney getting themselves ready for Saturday's clash with reigning A-League champions Sydney FC before taking on Melbourne Heart next Wednesday and the Brisbane Roar the following weekend.
Cahill says that he has been treated well by Toffees boss David Moyes who is letting him off some of the harder training sessions.
"I think I'm lucky the gaffer (Moyes) is not putting me through my paces too much, this is my country and I want to represent my country as (much as) possible as I can," Cahill said.
"There's a program in place for me that I'm not getting flogged and they are very sensitive to me and I just need my time, so I am getting my break and getting my right time."
Cahill is expected to play the Sydney and Melbourne matches but it is unlikely he will make the trip to Brisbane to take on the Roar.
