Everton are tracking Norwich City midfielder James Maddison.

ESPN reports Everton chief Steve Walsh watched the playmaker in Saturday's 2-1 Championship loss at Bolton.

Maddison hit the division's September goal of the month, a curling winner at high-fliers Middlesbrough.

And he has been nominated for the Championship's past two player of the month awards.

The mid-table Canaries are keen to extend his contract beyond its current end date of 2021.
