Everton striker James Vaughan says he's enjoyed his loan at Leicester City.

Vaughan will remain with the East Midlands side until the end of a likely play-off campaign before returning to Merseyside.

"I am contracted to Everton and I will go back at the end of the season," said Vaughan.

"But if the gaffer decides he wants me to go out on loan again, then that is fine. If not, I will fight for my place at Everton."

Vaughan admitted that his experiences at Leicester have put them top of his list if another loan move were in the offing.

"I have really enjoyed my time here and if the gaffer wanted me to go out on loan again then I would love to come back here," he said.

"I am really enjoying it. The lads have made me feel very welcome and that has made it so much easier to settle in."
