Everton striker Cenk Tosun admits he doesn't expect to play again until 2021.
He suffered a knee injury on loan at Crystal Palace, ruling him out for the season regardless of the subsequent suspension.
Having undergone surgery the Turk has since confirmed on Instagram his absence could last nine months.
Tosun said, "We talk to physiotherapists and doctors online. They say between 7-9 months.
"Again, the risk of breaking is high. If I return within 7-9 months, the risk is minimized. So I will not be in a hurry.
"When I get back to my 100 percent power, I will start training with the team."
