Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin has paid tribute to U23 coach David Unsworth.
Unsworth's team won the Premier League Cup at Goodison Park on Wednesday just weeks after being crowned league champions.
“I'm over the moon for them boys," Calvert-Lewin, who played a part in the title success of 2017, told the Liverpool Echo.
“I played with a few of them coming through the under-23s.
“Credit to them. They've done extremely well and I think Unsy has done a great job with the league and the cup."
Continuing to speak about the former Everton and Sheffield United man he said: “He's played a massive part [in my development].
“He was the main driving force in bringing me to the club in the first place.
“I've got a lot to thank him for. Not just technically and tactically but mentally he taught me a lot coming through. It's no coincidence he has so much success with the U23s."
