Everton boss David Moyes will give 18 year old midfielder Dan Gosling more first team opportunities in order to further his experience. "Dan has been terrific. His performance at Middlesbrough was really strong for a young boy," Moyes told the Liverpool Echo.

"He has got a lot going for him. He was very close to starting in the next game, but I felt it was right for Leon Osman, who had been injured, to come back in.

"However Dan came on later and scored. He's made a good start. Now we want to make sure he keeps progressing.

"We are going to give him moments on the field to make sure that happens. We just hope he can keep developing."
