Everton this week signed Australian youngster Jake Adelson from Blacktown City.
The 16-year old midfielder has departed the New South Wales club to link up with the Toffees youth academy after receiving an international transfer clearance.
Adelson has signed a three-year deal with the Merseysiders, who beat a host of other interested clubs to his signature, and will now join fellow Aussie Tim Cahill at Goodison Park.
