Everton signing Keane thanks Sean Dyche and Burnley

Michael Keane expresses his gratitude to Burnley boss Sean Dyche following the completion of his transfer to Everton.

Keane has completed a move to Everton recently and the 24-year-old is said to have joined the Toffees for a whopping fee of around £30m.

The transfer to Everton is certainly a huge opportunity for Keane but the defender has not forgotten about the role Burnley have had in his development as a player and went on to thank the club as well as former manager Sean Dyche upon departing for Goodison Park.

Keane said: "Firstly, what a tough decision it has been to leave this amazing football club. I can honestly say I have had the best three years of my life here, on and off the pitch.

"The gaffer showed a lot of faith in me three years ago, when it could have been easy for me to stay at United and look for an opportunity there.

"He convinced me to come to Burnley and develop under his guidance and I put that down as one of the best decisions I've ever made, so thanks gaffer!"
