Everton manager Roberto Martinez is believed to be targeting Manchester United midfielder Tom Cleverley.
The 24-year old England international has 12 months remaining on his Old Trafford contract but Martinez is looking to lure him to Goodison Park as he seeks a long-term replacement for Leon Osman.
The Daily Star suggests that United would want around £8million for Cleverley who played under Martinez during his season-long loan with Wigan Athletic in 2010/11.
Cleverley has not had much luck with Red Devils supporters this season as he is often made the scapegoat for poor team performances and a new environment could help freshen him up.
