Everton's McAleny heads to Scunthorpe

Promising Everton striker Conor McAleny has joined Scunthorpe United on loan.

The 19-year old, who has not yet made his Toffees first team debut, will be available for the Iron in their last eight matches of the season after his loan went through just prior to yesterday's deadline.

McAleny, who has been with the Everton youth academy since 2003, will go straight into Alan Knill's squad to take on Notts County at Glanford Park tomorrow with the club sitting 18th on the tier three table.
