Everton's Cahill has precautionary x-ray

Tim Cahill underwent an x-ray after he received a knock on his foot in Wednesday's draw with Arsenal. After scoring the opening goal, Cahill limped off the pitch and although the injury doesn't seem serious, the club wanted him to have a precautionary x-ray to be safe.

"Tim received a kick to the inside of his ankle and although it doesn't look too serious we've sent him for a precautionary x-ray," head physio Mick Rathbone told the club's official website.

"We're now awaiting results."
