Everton are moving for Las Palmas defender Mauricio Lemos.

The Daily Mail says Everton are maintaining interest in Lemos and he remains an option for the Toffees.

Manager Ronald Koeman is hoping for a breakthrough in talks over £25 million-rated Burnley and England centre-back Michael Keane this week.

Roma have also enquired about Uruguay U23 international Lemos who was considered by Barcelona last year.

He can play at centre-back or defensive midfield and scored five goals last season as he was monitored by Everton scouts.
