Everton boss David Moyes claims he is yet to receive any contact regarding teenage sensation Jack Rodwell. The midfield prodigy is the latest product of the Toffees' youth academy to be linked with a move to Manchester United, five years after Wayne Rooney made the switch.

The 18-year-old, rated at £20million, has also reportedly interested Chelsea.

Moyes told the Daily Mail: "Why is it inevitable Jack will go?

"I can't turn round and say it will never happen because I said that about Lescott, but we have heard nothing so far."

He added: "I haven't had a single phone call and I can tell you we are not sitting on any offer."
