Mikel Arteta is likely to return to the Premier League fray when his club takes on Wigan Athletic at DW Stadium tomorrow.
The Spanish playmaker has been sidelined for the last five Toffees game with a hamstring injury but has been back at training this week.
It is unlikely that Arteta will start on the weekend but just to be involved in the matchday squad will be a big boost to Everton who are trying to chase down sixth-placed Liverpool and finish above their Merseyside rivals for the first time in six years.
