Everton are eyeing a late market move for Newcastle attacker Miguel Almiron.
The Guardian says Everton are showing serious "interest" in bringing the 28-year-old to Goodison Park.
It's unclear, however, if the Merseysiders have tabled an offer for the Toon star.
Newcastle are said to be willing to part company with the Paraguayan, but only on a permanent basis.
Almiron joined Newcastle in January 2019 from MLS side Atlanta United for a then club-record fee of £20million.
He's scored 15 goals and provided five assists in 126 appearances for Eddie Howe's side.
