Everton have opened talks with Manchester City for goalkeeper Joe Hart.

The Mirror says Hart is set to join Everton after they opened talks about a loan deal.

Manchester City outcast Hart wants to stay in the Premier League which has put Everton in pole position with Sevilla also keen on the England keeper.

Hart's representatives have been given the green light to try and negotiate a move to Everton with discussions ongoing.

Hart is on £120,000-a-week with City ready to let him go but Everton would have to meet the contract with a loan deal likely to happen.
