Everton boss Roberto Martinez will have to cough up to sign Stoke City striker Kenwyne Jones.
The Daily Mail says Jones may be hoping for a free transfer to Everton but Martinez will have to come up with at least £1m to prise the 29-year-old out of the Britannia Stadium. Jones has not helped his situation by staying away from Stoke with manager Mark Hughes fining him £80,000.
He is out of contract in the summer but Stoke will be reluctant to do him too many favours.
