Everton midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin says the fans deserve victory against Wolves this Sunday.

Everton were beaten Friday night at Aston Villa.

Schneiderlin told evertonfc.com: "We remain optimistic. Everyone is disappointed not to win but we have enough good players to have a great season.

“Everyone is upset with the result. But now is the time to refresh and play the cup game, then next Sunday we have a tough game against Wolverhampton and we need to win in front of our fans.

“The main thing now is to rest and recover and work on the things we need to improve."
