Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson admits his £45m price-tag is difficult to believe.
The Iceland international, a club record signing, struck a sensational long-range volley as Everton progressed to the group stages of the Europa League after a 1-1 draw at Hajduk Split gave them a 3-1 aggregate victory.
"I think the market is a little bit crazy," the 27-year-old said before correcting himself. "No, I don't think it is a little bit crazy, it is crazy!"
Not that he is losing any sleep over it.
"I can't control that," he explained. "My job is just to perform and try to score goals, create goals and work hard for the team. And as long as I do that, hopefully I will make everyone happy."
