Everton midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson says there's no time to reflect on victory over Southampton last night.

Sigurdsson called on Everton to focus on their next game at West Bromwich Albion in three days' time after preserving their European ambitions courtesy of a hard-fought 1-0 win over Southampton at Goodison.

Asked what Everton are looking at this season after their latest success, Sigurdsson replied: “The next game. It's as simple as that. It's obviously fantastic to get the three points tonight but tomorrow we're back in and preparing for the next game.

“It's always nice to get three points and really good to back it up after a good win at Anfield. Defensively we were really good and it was perfect to back it up."
