Everton midfielder Darron Gibson has picked up a knee injury.

The Daily Mail says Gibson is a doubt for Everton's first league game at Norwich after picking up a knee injury in their friendly on Sunday.

The 25-year-old hobbled off before half-time in the 2-1 win over Real Betis.

Although Gibson felt a twinge during the warm-up at Goodison Park, he started the game but had to be withdrawn for John Heitinga before the break.
