Everton boss Sam Allardyce is in the market for the left-back signing this month.

The Daily Mail says Everton have made further enquiries for Chelsea left-back Abdul Baba Rahman and Crystal Palace's Patrick van Aanholt.

Allardyce is keen to add another left-back on loan to cover for Leighton Baines.

Schalke are in pole position for fit again Rahman and the 23-year-old is open to a return to the Bundesliga.

However, Inter Milan have also made enquiries in recent days for the Ghana international.
