Everton have opened talks with Burnley for Maxwel Cornet.

The winger is eager to leave Turf Moor after last season's relegation.

The Daily Mail says Everton are keen and talks have kicked off about a deal for Cornet.

The player's contract carries a £17.5m buyout clause.

Cornet was impressive for the Clarets after arriving from Lyon last season.
