Everton goalkeeper Tim Howard has been showered with praise by teammate Tim Cahill.
The USA international made five vital saves in the Toffees' 2-1 win at the City of Manchester Stadium and his performance, along with his general form, were adulated by goalscorer Cahill.
"He's been the man not just this season but all the other seasons as well. It's what he brings to the team," the Australian told Sky Sports 1.
"There's times in games when we look to him to get us out of it and tonight he did that."
Howard added: "They were on top of us most of the second half and then with the sending off, we knew we had to dig in and fight, we did that to be fair to everyone."
