Everton FC have confirmed they are keen to have LA Galaxy star Landon Donovan back at the club next year.

The USA international spent just under four months at Goodison Park from last January and was a major hit for the Premier League club, winning the Player of the Month award for that month.

There has often been talk of a return to the Merseyside for Donovan but all of it has been speculation until now with news that Toffees boss David Moyes is planning on coming back to the attacking midfielder with a second loan offer in the next transfer window.
