Everton are engaging in talks with Tottenham regarding one of their former players.
The Toffees are trying to come up with a possible plan to rescue Dele Alli's career.
The attacking midfielder is now nearing fitness, but has not played for many months.
Per The Mirror, Everton will have to pay Spurs an additional fee if Alli reaches 20 appearances for the club.
They will not do that, as their financial situation means they cannot afford the payment.
However, if Spurs can agree to waive the fee, they will bring Alli into their first team squad.
