Everton boss David Moyes has hit a snag in his pursuit of Valencia midfielder Ever Banega.

The Spanish club are now reluctant to allow the 21-year old to leave on a season-long loan despite an agreement being made last week.

Valencia are keen for a permanent deal for Banega who joined them from Boca Juniors for £15million in January 2008.
