Everton hero Cahill: Mane matchwinning pen SOFT

Everton hero Tim Cahill says Sadio Mane didn't deserve his penalty in Liverpool's win at Fulham.

Fulham goalkeeper Sergio Rico was adjudged to have brought down Mane inside the area with 10 minutes left after Ryan Babel had just equalised for the hosts six minutes prior.

Second-half substitute James Milner stepped up to convert the spot-kick to win the game and keep Liverpool's title dreams alive at Craven Cottage.

"That's a brush," Cahill said. "He should've dealt with the ball. When we see the other angle, it looks like a brush. It's open hand, not a closed hand.

"It's a definite penalty, from the first instance, the referee's angle he's got to blow for a penalty. But with the benefit of a replay it looks soft."
