Everton goalscorer Harrison: Among best of my career

Jack Harrison was delighted with his first goal for Everton in their 3-0 win against Bournemouth.

The on-loan Leeds United winger says the strike was among the best of his career.

He told evertontv: "It's been a long time that I was out recovering from my injury so I've been working really hard and the staff here have helped me to get to this position now and give me this opportunity. I'm grateful to the staff and to be back out on the pitch, starting again. It was a great result for us today and hopefully we can take this success and take it into the next game after the international break.

"It's definitely up there. It's a special moment coming here and scoring my first goal in front of the home crowd, who were incredible today. The atmosphere was amazing. Even after Jimmy's goal I was a bit surprised by the noise that they made. I was really happy to get off the mark and hopefully there will be more this season.

"I saw the keeper off his line a little bit so I thought if I can try and get it over him. I try not to think about it too much and that's usually when the best things happen, when I don't over-think it. Luckily for me it went in and we were able to go from there."
