Everton are moving for Tottenham striker Darren Bent.

The Mirror says Dave Moyes wants to sign out-of-favour Bent for around half of the £16million Spurs spent on him a year ago when they bought him from Charlton.

The Blues boss wants a new partner for Yakubu in a Goodison summer shakeup, with fallen star Andy Johnson on his way to finance the move. Everton hope to recoup about £7million on AJ.
