Everton fear Chelsea transfer ban will hit Zouma plans

Everton fear they'll miss out on Chelsea defender Kurt Zouma this summer.

Chelsea have just been hit today by a two window transfer ban - which is set to effect Everton's plans for loanee Zouma.

The Liverpool Echo says Everton were planning to test Chelsea's resolve in the summer over potentially signing the defender on a permanent basis.

Marco Silva previously said: “But I am really happy with him, he is improving, trying, he is a good professional, he is happy in our club, he is a good team-mate and a really important player.

“Let's see what we can do or not in the future.

"But it's also about his opinion, about his future. But we are really happy with him."

Delays to the transfer ban or any result of the appeal process coming in will affect this.
