Everton are not the only team involved in the race to sign Jean-Philippe Mateta.

The Crystal Palace star is unhappy at the London club and wants to move this summer.

So Foot states that Torino, Valencia and PSV Eindhoven are all circling after his signature.

The 25-year-old will not come cheap, as Palace have no financial pressure to sell.

However, Everton may be an appealing destination for Mateta, given he can stay in the Premier League but earn much more playing time.

Despite his talent, Mateta was not a favorite of either Patrick Vieira or Roy Hodsgon.
