Everton defender Patterson confident beating drop

Everton defender Nathan Patterson is confident they can avoid relegation to the Championship.

The Toffees have two more games remaining to save their skins and stay in the top flight.

After losing to Manchester City last weekend, Sean Dyche's side know they need to pick up points as they take on Wolves on Saturday and then Bournemouth eight days later.

“We are just looking forward to the games," Patterson said when asked about the league table by reporters.

“We are making sure we are focused on the things we do and as long as we do our job and do our best I am sure will be fine.

“All season we've concentrated on ourselves, trying to not look at the table and anyone around us. We just have to make sure we are focused and everyone is on the right page."
