Everton defender Phil Jagielka rates teammate Leighton Baines in the class of Manchester United star left-back Patrice Evra.

Jagielka says Baines should make England's World Cup squad.

"Bainesy is a quiet lad who doesn't like to blow his own trumpet, but the fact is he's been the best left-back in the Premier League this year.

"Patrice Evra gets all the plaudits because he plays for Man United but for me Bainesy is up there.

"I'd be very surprised if he doesn't get in the squad," he said.
