Everton academy coach Kevin Sheedy was pleased with their 2-1 win over FA Youth Cup opponents Crystal Palace.
Everton's equalising goal was scored by Ross Barkley, who gave a strong performance in the centre of midfield.
Sheedy wouldn't single out any player for specific praise though.
"Ross is a big powerful player in the middle of midfield and he did well for us tonight, getting the goal as well," he told evertonfc.com.
"But I wouldn't single anybody out because it was a whole team effort."
