Everton chiefs consider shock Moyes return

Former Everton boss David Moyes is being linked with a return to Goodison Park.

The Mirror says the Scot is one of the names in the frame to replace struggling Ronald Koeman at Goodison Park.

Moyes enjoyed an 11-year stint at the Toffees before leaving to take over from Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United in 2013.

Despite his unsuccessful time at United and further unproductive spells at Real Sociedad and Sunderland, the 54-year-old is still highly regarded at Everton.

He is also being targeted by the Scottish FA as a replacement for Gordon Strachan.

But Moyes still has unfinished business at club level and a return to Everton looks a good fit.
