Everton chief Steve Walsh is battling to keep hold of his job.

The Liverpool Echo says Walsh's role is believed to be under threat with exploratory talks having taken place between the Blues and PSV Eindhoven's Sporting Director Marcel Brands.

But Walsh is still making plans for the post-season.

He's under mounting pressure after a wretched season in which Everton have spent around £200m on transfers.
