Everton boss Marco Silva acknowledges Idrissa Gueye was upset being blocked from joing PSG in January.

Gueye has been open about his desire to move to PSG, but has not let that affect his performances since the transfer window closed.

And now Silva has revealed what he said to Gueye following his return to the Everton midfield as he praised his professionalism.

“I said to him in front of all his team-mates exactly what I am saying to you," Silva told the Telegraph.

“It is a good sign when you have professionals like him doing that."
