Everton boss David Moyes remains hopeful of adding to his squad during this month's transfer market.
Moyes revealed last week he would be paying particular attention to the loan market, and at his press conference ahead of the Blues' New Year's Day trip to Stoke City he reiterated his desire to draft in reinforcements.
The Everton manager said: "We will look and see if we can do something - we would definitely like to add (to our squad) if we can.
"I don't expect to be too busy. I would like to add (new players) if we can, but we are like a lot of clubs and finances are tight at this present time."
