Everton boss David Moyes feels neutrals want them to beat Liverpool in the FA Cup semifinal.

Moyes leads his side into battle against Liverpool knowing they have a mountain to climb if they are to reach their second FA Cup final in four years.

He insisted: "The neutral would want Everton to win.

"The neutrals look at us, see the way we have tried to build the club and develop the team, and it gives hope to many other clubs.

"I'm not saying it is the right way but it is our way. It has been done with real hard graft.

"It has taken time - that's why we have not been in enough semi-finals and finals."
