Everton boss Moyes delighted with two-goal Jo

Everton boss David Moyes was delighted with two-goal Jo after their 4-0 victory over Wigan Athletic.

Jo is on-loan at Everton from Manchester City and Moyes told evertonfc.com: "Jo has done really well with his goal return. He has been improving game by game since he came in January. We didn't have any strikers but we knew about him and hoped that with games and confidence he could score goals for us - which is what he has done.

"With foreign strikers, particularly those who come into the Premier League from South America, it takes time to settle. You look at people like Carlos Tevez and he didn't start on fire when he first came to England. It seems to take a little longer for strikers from that part of the world to adjust. But he has got undoubted talent and we're seeing more and more of what he is capable of.

"He is doing really well for us. He is getting a run of five, six, seven games in a row together now. That is helping his match fitness and confidence and five goals from seven is a great ratio.

"I have seen his training get better since he first arrived. The first goal was so important today and he took it really well."
