Everton boss Dave Moyes was delighted to give 16 year-old Jack Rodwell his first taste of Premiership action in Sunday's win at Sunderland.

"We still have injuries and we're just beginning to feel the pinch in our squad at the moment," he said. "But we've brought on a 16-year-old lad in Jack Rodwell and we've brought one or two 16-year-olds through in our time so we're pleased to get these youngsters involved."
