David Moyes is confident Roberto Martinez can be a success at Wigan Athletic.

Like the Everton boss, Martinez made his mark in the lower leagues prior to his top flight opportunity - impressing by guiding Swansea into the Championship.

"As a manager to come from the Championship to the Premier League isn't easy and I think he is making a good go of it," Moyes told evertonTV. "He did really well with Swansea in the lower leagues so I see no reason given time that he will do the same with Wigan."
