Everton boss Roberto Martinez has warned Nikica Jelavic he must fight for his place.

The Croatian, 27, faces a battle to keep his place despite looking to be back on form with a brace to add to Kevin Mirallas' opener yesterday.

Martinez said: "We have some great strikers.

"Along with Jelavic we have Arouna Kone, Kevin and Victor Anichebe.

"It will be exciting over the next three weeks to see how these four develop and lay their claim to start the first game."
