Everton boss Roberto Martinez is delighted with what he's seen from Leandro Rodriguez.
The transfer deadline day signing from River Plate Montevideo has scored in each of his two outings for the u-21s.
Martinez said: "I think the idea was always to give him good footballing experiences and see how quickly he adapts and can help the team.
"It's been really interesting to understand the two games he's played so far.
"I don't expect him to be too far away from being in contention to help the team. We've got two games now in a very short period of time when it'll be important for everyone to be ready. I don't expect Leandro to be too far from that."
