Everton boss Sean Dyche says Dele Alli is making good progress in his fitness recovery.
Alli is working on the grass after undergoing groin surgery over the summer.
Dyche said: “He is well in himself. I think that is important as number one. He is still well in himself - I don't overegg it but when I bump into him I ask him how he is feeling and he is absolutely fine.
"He is working hard and he is just on the verge, very gently, of getting on the grass. Not with us by the way, but out there. So there is a lot of hard work.
"It is a real tough thing I think for footballers coming out of the period he did, explaining his life and then just getting fit - and then getting re-injured. That is a really tough thing and he is handling it very well."
