Everton star Dele Alli has had surgery on his groin as he looks set for another spell on the sidelines.
Alli has not played competitively in over 11 months due to various injury problems.
After recovering from a long-term back issue, Alli is now going ahead with rehab after getting surgery for a groin injury.
"Unfortunately he has required surgery," said Blues boss Sean Dyche to reporters.
"It was a bit of a debate on whether to or not, which is why it took some time. So now he'll be basically recovering from that and there's no timescales on it at this time.
“Obviously there's a lot on and we're just waiting for it developing and the early signs are good at this time."
