Gazzetta dello Sport says Ancelotti has held 'reassuring' talks with shareholders to map out the Blues' transfer plans.

The Blues are yet to make a major signing this month but the club's hierarchy reassured the Italian they will do what they can this season and 'lay the groundwork' for an 'ambitious' rebuild in the summer transfer window.
