Everton boss Carlo Ancelotti fancies a reunion with Real Madrid attacker James Rodriguez.

AS says Ancelotti has long been a big fan of James, having worked with him as Real and also Bayern Munich coach.

And a reunion is now being considered as the January market swings open.

For his part, James would be open to the move, knowing he has played his best football in Europe under the Italian.

A loan deal would suit all parties - including Real, where coach Zinedine Zidane doesn't regard him as part of his first team plans.
